1. Do you take custom orders? If yes, what’s the process?

2. Why is my rug shredding?
It’s normal for a tufted rug to shed as it's a freshly trimmed product. The shredding will decrease and eventually stop within a three to six months with weekly vacuuming.

3. How do I care for my rugs?
Here are a few steps to follow-

  • Vacuum the rug once or twice a week.
  • If any thread pops out, do not pull it. Gently cut it with a pair of scissors.
  • Do not use any scrub or a hard brush.
  • Do not fold the rug, always roll its front side out and wrap in a cloth for protection
  • Avoid using the rug on a damp surface.
  • If spills occur, blot immediately, do not rub the stain.
  • Rugs are subject to wear and tear over time and can become faded if exposed to
  • direct sunlight. They should be rotated every six months to minimize this.
  • Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
  • If the rug is creased during its shipment, not to worry. It will disappear after the rug
  • has been laid flat for some time. You can roll the rug with the pile facing outwards and leave it like that overnight.
  • Professional Cleaning is recommended.

4. Are wool rugs suitable for summers?

Wool is a natural insulator, keeping spaces cool in summer and warm in winter, thus regulating your home’s temperature and even potentially reducing energy costs.

5. What do I do if I want to make a change to the product after placing the order or if I want to cancel my order?
Changes or cancellations can be made within 24 hours of placing your order. Please inform us immediately via email at info@rugsdesign.com

6. Would you be able to suggest a rug according to my space via pictures
Yes, please share the pictures of your room via email at info@rugsdesign.com and we’d be happy to connect you with our designers to suggest to you what’s best for your space.
